BREAKING: Brazil’s National Council of Justice just ruled that ALL couples have the right to marry.
It’s a beautiful day for Brazil - no one should have to face discrimation because of who they are or who they love. Spread the word!
Actually the law that allows same sex couples to get married was established back in 2011, but some register offices were difficulting the process or just flat out denying the right for these couples to get effectively married. The law that was approved this week is there to assure and reinforce that ALL register offices fulfill this right to ALL couples.
Still a victory for all of us.
Right-wing idiots are going to bring this to the STF (Federal Supreme Court). Apparently they are forgetting that the STF kicks ass and probably will laugh at them.

see, in spanish the word for “genre” and the word for “gender” is the same: “género”. if you live in mexico and someone asks you what gender you are, you can be whatever i’m comfortable with. i’m a boy, or a girl. i’m a crime noir with a bit of spicy romance. i’m post-punk electronic music. i have trascended human perceptions of gender and am now a being of pure art
also true in portuguese
“genre”/”gender” -> “gênero”
